Birth, Memory and Birth
Throughout the symposium, we will explore both theoretical and practical perspectives on how the impact of birth is shaping our lives and how water can support healing, both during birth and beyond. This gathering aims to foster connections and new insights into the profound, yet often underexplored, connections between water and the birth experience as a new professional aquatic modality with its own applications and ethical considerations.

If you already work in the water (watsu, aguahara, janzu) you will find here solutions to include pregnancy and families into your practice. If you are a birth keeper, you will find here ways to include the water element into your propositions for mothers and families. Our trainings are open to birthkeepers, caregivers, midwifes, doulas, aquatic bodyworkers, somatic practitioners (dance, yoga, tai chi, massage), osteopaths and therapists. We have propositions to learn collective practices, couple work, the use of the fabric in the water and we are about to launch a full continuum training to become a waterdoula. Some of our propositions are focused on the practice and others are more about the rituals and the sacredness of motherhood.

Si vous travaillez déjà dans l'eau (watsu, aguahara, janzu), vous trouverez ici des solutions pour inclure les femmes enceintes et les familles dans votre pratique. Si vous êtes une gardienne de naissance, vous trouverez ici des moyens d'inclure l'élément eau dans vos propositions pour les mères et les familles. Nos formations sont ouvertes aux sages-femmes, doulas, toutes personnes avec une bonne base en relaxation aquatique/ danse/ yoga/tai shi/massage/osteopathie/chiropractie ect et les thérapeutes. Vous pourrez apprendre avec nous à créer des cercles dans l’eau, accompagner les couples, utiliser le Water Rebozo et aller un peu plus loin et apprendre à donner des séances individuelles. Certaines de nos propositions sont axées sur la pratique aquatique et d’autres portent d’avantage le sacré et les rituels autour de l’eau et de la maternité.
